The UAE a Capital for Arab Dialogue

Within one week, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the Jordanian King Abdullah II and the Bahraini Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa visited the UAE.
King Abdullah II described the relations between the UAE and Jordan as strong, historic and brotherly ties. I am happy to meet such a great leader who has made of the UAE a model, said the Jordanian King, adding that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is a brother for him.
Discussions between the UAE leadership and the visiting Arab leaders covered various issues. Obviously, these meetings agreed that the joint Arab political action has been mainly led by the UAE.
The regional scene puts on Abu Dhabi the responsibility to address the strategic threats, especially Iran and its proxies in the region. The UAE has a leading role in overcoming the Iranian interventions in Yemen and other countries. The UAE leadership mobilizes Arab political and diplomatic efforts to deal with Jerusalem’s file and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. These files require an Arab collective move to find resolutions.
Historically, in the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE was the source of wise political decisions in the Arab region. It always retained Arab interests as a top priority. The founding leader of the state had a forward vision aimed at protecting Arab strategic interests. His approach was followed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. The UAE had long supported Egypt in order to overcome the chaos experienced since 2011. Abu Dhabi has always stood up for Egypt against the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization.
The UAE’s security is an integral part of the Arab national security. This catchphrase explains the UAE’s positions and policies to prevent foreign interventions and secure Arab countries.
The UAE foreign policy seeks to overcome differences between Arab countries and to uphold the Arab interests. During their visits, the Arab leaders appreciated the UAE’s efforts to safeguard the Arab security and future. The UAE has a crucial role in avoiding the scourge of wars that cause displacement of the Arab people.
