The Emirati Dream

For many years now, the UAE has been the favorite country for Arab youth, topping the list of countries they want their countries to be like. They view it as a role model for safe and economically stable countries. These are the results of surveys conducted by international institutions.
The results of these surveys are not surprising. The UAE, as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said, “is a good country to everyone.”
Happiness is one reason why Arab youth prefer the UAE when they are asked about the best countries they wish to live in. The UAE is not only seeking to make its people happy but also its residents and visitors. In recent years, the Emirates was the first in the Middle East and North Africa on the Global Happiness Index, published by the International Initiative on Sustainable Development Network and the Earth Institute of Columbia University. It is not just a matter of guaranteeing well-being and happiness for the people, but also giving grants and humanitarian aid around the world. The federal country was world’s top international donor for ODA for several years in a row, and an undisputed humanitarian hub.
Living in a dream country encouraged many generations of people from various places of the world to pack their bags. The American dream was shared by hundreds of millions of people. This dream is a source of soft power for the USA as a land of opportunity that relies on skills, talents and energies, not on nepotism and personal connections. America marketed a bright image to the world, one of good life, money, good education and prosperity.
Since it was popularized in the 1931 book Epic of America, the American dream has been the essence of American soft power. The ethos was the subject of many studies and research and, despite attempts to question it, has remained the dream of millions of people.
In recent years, a new dream has emerged for young people in the Arab region and the world. Today, the Emirati dream is still rising strongly in the fields of competition, action, creativity and innovation between countries that want their people to live in real prosperity and happiness.
The UAE dream is becoming more and more vivid as the country continues to achieve and succeed and its leadership work to make it one of the world’s best countries with programs from the 2021 UAE vision to the Centennial Plan 2071.
“Our dream is that our country become one of the best countries in the world,” tweeted His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. “Life taught me that we have the right to dream of making our country one of the world’s best countries. Great dreams move men and mountains, and the greater the achievements, the greater the dreams. ” “To follow the dream is everyone’s right, and every society’s right too. No power on earth can stop people from realizing their common dream if they wake up every day to make it come true.” “Life taught me that to achieve much, you have to dream big,” he said. Zayed relentlessly worked for 40 years. His dream was to build something out of nothing. Only when he saw his dream come true was he satisfied.”
These words, from which the spirit, determination and solid will of the UAE are springing, are the driving force behind the emirati dream. God Almighty has given the UAE an unrelenting leadership to work for the welfare and happiness of the people. In every step it takes, the leadership puts the interest of the citizen first. The fact that the UAE passport is one of the strongest travel documents in the world clearly betokens the international recognition of the country’s development model and living standards.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has established this historic concept in the minds of all his people since he considered the nation’s martyrs, their families and their children the “bone of the neck” for a leadership that always places itself at the forefront of sacrifices. The sons of the leaders join the first ranks in the battlefields of honor in the defense of justice and national interests.
The dream of the UAE is growing brighter under the guidance of our wise leadership. Dreamers of well-being, happiness, and giving know no limits.
