The March of Good Governance of the Emirates Leadership

When the founding fathers of the Emirates nation decided to unite, it was the beginning of the story of the establishment and the success of an ambitious state hoping to be in the ranks of developed countries, and that its citizens enjoy glory and success, on a day shining with splendor and pride. December 2, 1971 is a date carved in the minds of every citizen and lover of the UAE and its people. The UAE was built through a unique imagination and leadership of the founding fathers, and the leadership was ably carried on by the Emirates current leaders, which made the Emirates jump into the future and make ambitions and wishes a reality the whole world is witnessing: evolution, culture, construction, thought, and education, have made this country a beacon to everyone.
Under the wise and fair leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him, and his brothers the rulers of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister – may Allah protect all of them, we see in their management of the state and the nation great concern for the development of the United Arab Emirates at all levels, cultural and humanitarian, legal and technical, and we see all the evidence about promoting the dignity of citizens and raising their standards of living, knowledge, health and culture.
In the United Arab Emirates, leaders were proactive to support good governance, equality and social justice, through actions and behaviors and laws. Rapprochement between the ruler and the ruled, meeting the needs of the people and citizens and working to meet challenges was the first concern of the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, which has always proved to represent the people and their ambitions and aspirations and to implement this approach through concrete achievements that can be seen in every inch of the soil of this dear homeland.
Giant achievements have been realized over the life of the Union. At the infrastructure level, there are modern networks of roads and bridges linking all the emirates in the country, and equipped with various services on the roadsides. Modern cities have been built, and citizens’ social stability has been promoted through the houses and land plots distributed by the wise government. Also hospitals, schools and universities have been rehabilitated and equipped for a healthy growth and social justice. Women and children have been encouraged through laws and regulations that provide for them care and protection. The wise leadership of the UAE believes that Emirati women are an essential element in the development of the nation, therefore, it supported their participation and presence as ministers and employees and as members of the Federal National Council, as well as in the Council of the UAE for gender balance. All that is but very little evidence of the good governance of the leadership of the UAE since the establishment of the Union.
