Orlando Offense…Moves Required

There is an idea that was said and is still said by several countries, notably the United Arab Emirates, which is that terrorism has no homeland nor religion nor boundaries, but a lot of countries around the world are dealing with this idea as a false premise or an analysis to dilute the phenomenon of terrorism and dismantle responsibilities and escape it, although this kind of dealing is one of the mistakes of the current crisis. The fact is that this idea is the only way to deal more seriously in addressing the phenomenon of terrorism without sliding into the trap of conflicts of religions and civilizations, or drifting behind sectarian strife calls, launched by some theorists or politicians or states that exploit terrorism in settling scores and achieving their expansionist ambitions coming from the catacombs of history.
I say this because the heinous terrorist massacre committed by an American citizen of Afghan origin recently in Orlando is a model for the latent terrorism threat, which is far beyond the risk of the physical existence of the phenomenon of terrorism and its concentration in certain areas. Latent danger is difficult to discover, and it is nearly impossible to predict its actions and plans and thought patterns.
What the world needs in the face of such terrorist crimes is greater coherence, coordination and cooperation, as everyone must be convinced that terrorist crimes committed by individuals or organizations that are considered to belong to the Islamic religion or another religion do not represent at all this tolerant religion, otherwise, we are opening the door to evils to the whole world. Islam, with its enormous demographic range cannot be expressed through tense individuals and organizations that major powers are aware of who stands behind them and who contributed to their founding and the goals aimed from them!!
If terrorist crimes are like free gifts to the extremists of the right wing in Western countries, the statements of these political extremists are also free gifts to terrorist organizations that use them to exploit and bring by them and through them new followers and supporters and sympathizers within these same countries, let alone outside these countries in different parts of the world. Here, moderates located in the east and the west find themselves between two extremisms, and on them lie heavy responsibilities to save the world from the perils of extremism and the crankiness of extremists and terrorists.
When dozens of Americans are killed in Orlando at the hands of terrorism, the message here deserves attention. Daesh and other terrorist organizations must not be given the opportunity to identify the margins of their upcoming moves and to put everyone under the pressure of fear and anxiety, with what could result in this as rash actions that may correspond to the agendas of these terrorists and achieve their goals in igniting a global civilization conflict upon which these organizations feed and which they strongly seek and in the presence of which they thrive.
The mistaken message in the crime of Orlando is that some attribute it to Islam and consider this true religion responsible for it. The deviation of one of millions of American Muslims, for example, does not mean that there is a problem at the core of religious teachings. Things should be approached with objectivity and fairness if the world seeks a real understanding of what is happening, rather than being misled by false ideas and handing the lead to extremists and terrorists and advocates of the clash of civilizations and cultural bloody clangs.
There is no doubt that history experiences are replete with enough experiences so that everyone understands that extremism and violence and the desire for murder and bloodshed are unrelated to religions and civilizations, and only a clear expression of individual aggressiveness sometimes, and a translation of conspiratorial schemes that wear the dress of religion and take it as a cover to carry out plots narrowing or expanding geographically and geostrategically according to the intentions and objectives of the planners. And certainly the organization Daesh is the best proof of these plots, as we cannot give in to the idea of the existence of this organization like a plant without seeds, especially that it is in control of vast areas of land in Iraq and Syria and manages a crisis in Libya and looks forward to the existence of an influential terrorist presence in Yemen and other areas, and then after all that, the organization’s leaders have the time of plotting to implement a criminal scheme in the American home and to recruit an element who is subject to the supervision of the FBI since 2013?
Of course, I am a supporter of neither exaggerating nor underestimating the capabilities of these terrorist organizations, and I am also not among the promoters of the conspiracy theory in understanding what is going on around us, but I’m trying to ask objective questions worth answering with a degree of analytical logic, right down to what I started my article with, which is the need to be convinced that terrorism is a phenomenon worthy of a serious concerted effort on the part of the whole world, where no one backs away or withdraws from its ranks, as the danger is all-encompassing and likely to overwhelm all peoples at any time and any place.
Without a serious global strategy to deal with terrorism and its real causes and factors of expansion and spreading, in the same way the world deals with other dangerous cosmic phenomena like global warming and so on, we will all be caught in a treadmill and will throw a fire flame at one another without finding exits and solutions capable of undermining and eradicating this ugly phenomenon.
