Obsession of Chaos and Sabotage on Facebook

This week, I was impressed by a girl who spoke in a British report about the phenomenon of hidden cameras for women in the locker room and even in the toilets of an East Asian country. People have not changed at the same rate as technology in the world, a fact we all can see but the extent of the impact of which we do not know on much of what is happening around us.
I remembered this statement when I followed on social media and news sites the passion of some of the users of these means of sowing chaos and turmoil in several countries, where some have celebrated the “yellow vests” protests in France and may have raised their expectations of what to do, while others, who describe themselves as political activists, have analyzed the dimensions of what is happening there, its causes and its relationship with what the media call the Arab Spring, and the relationship of influence between France and other European countries, and between France and the Arab countries!
It is in this context that a wave of illusory analyzes of any spark appearing in the Arab countries appeared on social media. Some people first mentioned Tunisia and the blue jackets, then attention shifted to Sudan, when popular protests erupted. Then came a kind of declared passion and strange wishes for the aggravation of the the events despite what appeared from the very first hours in terms of the tendency towards violence and chaos as well as destruction and sabotage. !
Do some people in our countries have a chronic tendency to chaos, violence and vandalism? Why did these people not understand the lessons of what has happened since 2011 and the economic and social crises, conflicts and disasters that some countries are still experiencing? Do not these people read what is happening in Libya, Syria and other Arab countries? And why do some Arabs want chaos and sabotage? Are the owners of these sick “dreams” not aware of their consequences for nations and peoples? Does this reflect a deep crisis in national affiliations?!
Why do some of them think of promoting the transfer of symptoms of chaos, vandalism and violence to their communities simply because they disagree with a regime, reject certain policies or suffer from problems such as unemployment, lack of jobs, high prices, inflation, etc.? And how do they see the solution of these development dilemmas in violence, vandalism, unrest and destruction of the state?
It is undeniable that many Arab countries have experienced crises and no one can deny that there are still problems, that there is corruption, favoritism and deterioration of levels of education and health at varying degrees from one country to another. Nobody denies that reality is always below the aspirations of peoples. But we must admit that recognizing the deterioration of reality is the first step towards finding solutions and treatments, and we must recognize that this is happening in many Arab countries: there is repeated official recognition at the highest political levels of the deterioration of development, the economy education, and health, and great efforts are being made to shield Arab states and peoples from this cumulative reality, but what we see is disappointing. Indeed, some mock the political realism they have long claimed and the recognition of the deterioration of the situation, services and development conditions!
These are just a few of the “keyboard” and Facebook activists who have no other skill than to export frustration, which is their staple product, to young people and to all sectors of society, in order to achieve a frustrated, hopeless society with regard to the future and the possibility of getting out of the miserable reality and correcting the situation. This unhealthy idea that inhabits the minds of these people is neither spontaneous nor accidental; they serve in fact objectives they know well, some of which are lack of patriotism and belonging and the weakness of identity for various reasons. And there are some who work for the benefit of third parties and who earn their living for these subversive programs, and others who trade with religion and have a vision of exclusion because of chronic exposure to brainwashing and training in one-dimensional thinking. Some still work aimlessly and have no project and no ambition and seek to sow chaos and frustration among young people for nothing but the emptiness and absurdity of addiction!
Why do some of our people expect what they call a new spring? Did last spring yield fruit that motivates them to wait for a new spring? Are they not aware of the results of everything that has happened since 2011? Do they like what is happening to the millions of refugees and displaced people in some of our Arab countries? Do they want to see new millions of refugees and displaced Arabs and Muslims? Do not they understand the lessons of the recent past?!
The scenes of violence, destruction and chaos in Arab streets and cities continue to stir the imagination of some who see it as the path of salvation. We can not see how salvation can be achieved through the door of chaos and destruction. How can countries suffering from poverty and fragile economies recover from the ashes of chaos and destruction? We must all be aware of the danger posed by these patients who celebrate every spark that burns in our region or in any other country in the world and who see it as a lifeline for an unfortunate reality that, I firmly believe, suits their thinking. their laziness and stupidity.
These symptoms, despite their limited scope and their weakness, reveal a crisis of identity experienced by certain social groups in our Arab countries, a deep and accumulated crisis requiring urgent cultural “surgical” interventions so that the new generations are not affected by these deadly symptoms for the homelands. We have no need for a new spring but rather for a new renaissance and a new job, and enough to wait for seasons that only produce chaos and ruin.
