This year, Saudi Arabia celebrates the National Day in an atmosphere of optimism. The future looks bright for the people of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, who adopts a promising strategic development vision for the Kingdom, practically like a second declaration of establishment of the Kingdom.
The 2030 vision involves many ambitious plans and goals expected to move the country further ahead. It has all the ingredients for success as it relies on the country’s strong points– the will of its youth, which represents a potential force capable of achieving a huge leap in the competitiveness of the Kingdom of the twenty-first century, and inspired by this vision spirit of the first stage of the establishment led byKing Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud. He united the Kingdom under very difficult circumstances and made military and political achievements that culminated in the unification of the country and securing stability in the region.
The ambitious goals of vision 2030 are promising goals for the Saudi people. There is a tremendous focus on competitive education, employment, healthcare, services, entertainment, infrastructure, and effective government performance to achieve a strong and prosperous moderate Islamic country that can accommodate all. It is indeed a qualitative leap in Saudi strategic planning and in the use of resources for human service and development.
As we extend our congratulations to the leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia, we share with our brothers their deep joy in their national day. Their joy is our joy. We are pleased that the relations between the two sister countries of KSA and the UAE are stronger than ever. The leaders, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdulaziz bin Saud are leading the countries and peoples of the GCC and the Arab nation through joint policies to address the sources of danger and threat, to preserve the interests and gains of our nations and our countries, in the embodiment of the will of unity and unique ties between the two countries.
The United Arab Emirates is always very supportive of the Kingdom in facing the challenges of the present and the future, and working to strengthen the foundations of the Gulf community in accordance with the religious and national principles and values of the Emirates.
We wish all the good, happiness, security and stability to the Saudi leadership and people on the occasion of the national day, and sincerely pray our two countries may evermore have such friendly relations.
