The Sins and Lies of the Mullahs…!

Iran’s mullahs insist on mixing politics and religion at every opportunity and press statement. Recently the head of the Iranian parliament, Ali Larijani, came out with a statement attacking Saudi Arabia, from an angle that is not strange to the Iranian political discourse, which does not stop its accusations to Riyadh, but is strange as to the excessive promotion of misleading ideas and false claims.
Larijani said “the Saudi regime is pursuing the Umayyad policy, and that the injustice, massacres and the destruction it practices against the people of Yemen are in conformity with the logic of al jahiliyyah (ignorance of the Divine guidance) and not with the prophetic mission”. Larijani said, explaining those words “Does the war imposed by the Saudis on the oppressed Yemeni people, by killing them and injuring thousands of them, and by destructing the infrastructure imposing food and pharmacological blockade, correspond to the logic of dignity and pride of the mission of the Prophet or the logic of ignorance?” There is no doubt that the substance of this speech is not surprising from a historical perspective of the Shiite political discourse of a pure Persian character.
I would add nothing new to Larijani if reminded him that oppression and injustice exist in all times and regions, but what is really rare is the overwhelming desire to claim innocence. He knows before anyone else who caused the tragedy suffered by the Yemenis now, and who dragged the entire region into anarchy and ethnic and sectarian rivalry! Saudi Arabia does not have expansion plans and did not send militias to fight in Iraq and Syria. It prompted its army allied with Arab and Gulf States to Yemen in defense of the security and stability of this country and to preserve the dignity of its people from the tampering of the Houthi group, which Iran incited to seize power and to conspire with ousted Ali Abdullah Saleh, in order to tighten the Shiite ring around the necks of the GCC countries.
Larijani has a sense of humor unusual of Iranian politicians. He raises questions that only raise laughter because of their excessive naivety. He says, “How can a Muslim governing an Islamic state abuse the dignity of a Muslim people (the people of Yemen), its honor and property and exercise more injustice against it by making some states keep up with him in his aggression with money and pressure by forming a fake coalition supported by the big powers?” I agree with Larijani on this question, but he turns a blind eye to the fact that the answer to this question does not lie in Riyadh, but in the council of his supreme Guide Ali Khamenei, who ordered the Iranian incursion in several Arab Muslim countries, and the persecution of millions of Sunni Muslims in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, and is now trying to repeat his hateful game in the Kingdom of Bahrain and other countries.
Let us suppose that what Mr. Larijani says is true on the false allegations of Saudi Arabia about Iran’s efforts to dominate the region, and let us believe that Tehran does not possess an ugly ideological sectarian project for regional expansion. But believing these assumptions requires answering intuitive questions dictated by the regional scene, first and foremost: What has Iran been doing in Iraq since 2003? What did it do with Syria and Yemen? Why does it insist on interfering in Bahrain’s affairs? And why is Iran using the language of the Persian sectarian superiority with the neighboring Arab states, and insists on the occupation of the three UAE islands (Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa). Was not all that Iranian sectarian interventions for regional expansion?!!!
When Larijani continues the series of his allegations, he seems a strong contender to the Stars of black comedy. He asks, “Does Iran’s support for Hezbollah and Hamas and Islamic Jihad and resistance against the Zionist entity because of its aggression on southern Lebanon and Gaza, means Iran is seeking to dominate? For my part, I ask him a question that deserves a response: how many bullets were fired by Iran on Israel? And what did Iran to restore the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem except media hype, and the exploitation of such a sensitive religious issue in getting regional strategic gains at the negotiating table with the supporters of Israel in the West?
Larijani says that Iran’s power is an added strength to the Muslims and that if Saudi Arabia would came under Israeli aggression, Iran would defend it. This is one of the pale lies and slanders a sane person would never believe. Iran did not defend the Palestinians since they have been exposed to dozens of Israeli incursions, and Tehran remained silent, and only contented itself with threats and intimidation, and everyone knows quite well that the last thing Iran thinks of is to undermine Israel’s security. Then how would Iran defend Saudi Arabia and the Saudis while Tehran threatened Saudi Arabia a few weeks ago with a torrent of missile strikes and with an arsenal of rockets waiting for the order of the supreme guide to bomb the Saudi cities?? !!
I intended to refute all Larijani’s remarks, but I found that the empty lies and allegations they comprise exposes themselves. It is enough that the man wants to convince his audience that Iran directed “The biggest blow to the Zionist entity.” We do not know which blow he is referring to while the blood of the dead among Iran Revolutionary Guards known to the Israeli army on the Syrian border has not dried yet? The echo of the noise of the overflights by Israeli fighters over Iranian airspace a few years ago is still present, not to mention the “Stuxnet” Israeli virus that infiltrated to about 30 thousand Iranian computers, and made Iran undergo a defeat that is the first in the history of cyber warfare. So after all that, where is”the biggest blow” Larijani is talking about?
Wake up May God bless you….. Addiction to lying is dozens of times much more dangerous and much worse than drug addiction, and the bad thing is that lying comes out of a fossilized mentality that does not realize that each propaganda has its rules and principles even if it was based on a big lie !!.
